Undercurrent Report is committed to transparency and integrity across all avenues of our journalism. We disclose our funding sources, keep subscriber details private, label our content for clarity, and explain our reporting methods.

1. Funding and Ownership
   • We disclose all sources of funding including sponsors, donors, and advertisers.
   • Subscriber information remains confidential.
   • Editorial decisions are made independently, free from influence by funders, donors, advertisers, and subscribers.
2. Mission and Ethics
   • Mission and editorial standards are published for public review.
   • We are committed to the highest ethical standards, fairness, and accuracy in reporting.
3. Content Classification
   All content is clearly labeled:
   • Current Events: Breaking news and reporting
   • Free Speech: Opinion and commentary pieces
   • Deep Dive Current Events: In-depth research and analysis
   • Education: Educational material for grades 9-12
4. Author Expertise and Attribution
   • Every article lists the name and credentials of the journalist and/or contributor.
   • Author status is clearly disclosed (Journalist, Journalist Research, Student Journalist, or Guest).
   • Anonymous contributors are reviewed for safety considerations.
   • Investigative stories include access to sources and references where possible.
5. Reporting Methods
   • Stories are researched internationally and nationally.
   • Confidential sources are explained, with steps taken to verify disclosures.
   • Names and locations may be changed when source safety is at risk.
   • Regional identification is used if necessary for protection.
6. Corrections and Accountability
   • Errors are promptly corrected with clear notation.
   • We take responsibility for our work to maintain transparency.
   • Feedback from consumers is welcomed and valued.
